From Abruzzo with Love: Val's Pasta alla Chitarra with Meat Sauce.
Spaghetti Alla Chitarra is a classic dish from the Italian region of Abruzzo, Val's native place. This pasta is long and uniquely square-shaped and named after the guitar-like tool used to make it. A wooden frame that has wires strung across it. Sheets of pasta are rolled over the strings, pressing the pasta through and cutting it into precise strands that end up having squared off edges, instead of the more common round spaghetti.
The meat sauce is very rich with chunks of slow cooked beef.
Reheat in a pan, add a half a glass of water and stir thoroughly.
A glass (or two) of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is very welcomed with this dish. Wine available to buy when collecting (£10)
PS. As a new product, I will make only few portions (first-come-first) and see how it goes. I would recommend to eat it at the same day of collection and not suitable for freezing. I will update the serving suggestions as I get feedbacks from you :)
